[29 August 2008]
Australian Shows in October

IKON has just begun rehearsing again in the past few weeks, as Dino's finger slowly recovers. The band has agreed to play a few shows as a part of an extravaganza of industrial and goth bands touring Australia in October. Unfortunately, September was just too early for the band to set off on an international tour, but we hope to get some practice in with these shows before setting off overseas in 2009.

The Sydney show will be part of the Under the Blue Moon Festival at the Gaelic Theatre on 5 October (featuring Covenant, Diary of Dreams, Haujobb Vs. Destroid and Voices of Masada: Tickets here. The Melbourne show will be held at Roxanne Parlour on 10 October: Tickets here.

This will be a great opportunity for IKON to perfect the songs from the new album in a live setting before unleashing them on Europe.

---

[20 August 2008]
Tour Postponement

Unfortunately, bass player Dino Molinaro's injured finger has, in part, lead to the cancellation of the planned September European tour. IKON apologises to anyone who had planned to come along to the shows. The good news is that this allows more time for the band to finish off the finer details of the new album over the next few months to make it the best IKON album yet. IKON will tour again next year, don't worry! And it will be bigger and better with some possible new countries on the itinerary.

Psychic Vampire ep/ cd single

Release date: May 3 2004

This is the first new IKON material since the 2001 release of On the edge of forever cd and will be available in 2 parts. Part A is an e.p which contains 8 new songs and part B has 3 remixes of Psychic Vampire and 3 live songs. The reason it's broken up into 2 releases is we originally planned a cd, 7" & 12" with each format containing exclusive material, but, due to time and manufacturing restrictions we have come up with a cd 1 and cd 2. We are making a new path with our distribution network, so initially both releases will only be available direct from us. For those who would like to purchase the e.p from our mailorder, cd 2 will be free of charge.

Videos and live recordings

We 100% encourage anyone in the audience to record our shows for their own use as we also do the same. Unfortunately we didn't capture our performance at the Blackout Club in Rome on video. We saw at least 3 people in the audience with video cameras so if you have a copy please let us know as we would love one for our archives. Apologies also go out to everyone at the show as quite strangely there was a power blackout at the Blackout Club on Friday 13th and we were unable to finish our set. We had at least another 2 songs to go!
